The 2010-2011 school year will be my 13th year teaching. I spent most of my teaching career in Hillsborough County. Then, I decided to work in the private sector (at an advertising agency as a content writer). While I enjoyed my time creating slogans and print media, I missed the classroom. I decided to move my family from Hillsborough to Polk and go back to teaching. This is my 3rd year at GJHS. I have a B.A. in English Education from the University of South Florida and am working toward my M.A. in Gifted Education. I have been married for 10 years and am the proud mom of 2 beautiful children.
